Activities & Apple Health

Bring your training history together.

Log activities manually or import them from Apple Health so your plans, weekly progress and analytics stay accurate.

Activities and Apple Health

Activities include runs, walks, hikes, rides, swims, yoga, skiing and strength sessions. ulTrain can import new workouts from Apple Health or let you log sessions manually.

Enable Apple Health

Open Settings.
Find Apple Health or Health import settings.
Grant permission.
Allow ulTrain to read workout data. Health permissions can always be changed in iOS Settings.
Open Import from Health.
Use the heart icon on Home, the Activities area or Settings depending on your layout.
Review and import.
Select individual workouts, import all, or ignore workouts you do not want to see again.

What gets imported

ulTrain groups pending workouts by date and supports filters for runs, walks, hikes, cycles, swims, yoga, strength and skiing. Where possible, workouts are matched to active plan weeks. Unlinked imports can be enabled if you want all activities saved even when they do not match a plan.

Duplicates and ignored workouts

Imported Health workouts are tracked by HealthKit ID so they are not repeatedly offered. If you ignore a workout, it is hidden from the import list and stored in your ignored items.

Review after import

Open My Activities to review distance, time, pace, elevation, heart rate, calories and notes. Imported activities can also contribute to streaks, weekly summaries and analytics.

Tip: If you cannot see a workout, check that Health permission is enabled and that your import settings allow unlinked activities if the workout is not part of an active plan.
